Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25, 1970) is an acclaimed American actor. She is most famous for her role as Detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter as well as on the drama of NBC Providence. Also, she was awarded applause for her television debut part in Guiding Light on CBS as Eleni Cooper. Her most notable film credits comprise 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life, written by Elisabeth Kubler Ross and adapted into a film with Vlas Parlapanides (the team who invented the Immortals) has been reported to be in the works. The actress is currently filming an impending series called Gods & Heroes.
